Phyllisann Carullo MS.Ed

Phyllisann Carullo-Miller, with over 40 years of experience in education, holds an MS from Hunter College from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the John F. Kennedy award for the highest academic average and service to the college, as well as The Kelly Gold Medal for Methods of Teaching. She was a member of the founding faculty and served on the school Board of Directors for the first Charter School in Vista (North San Diego County, Vista). Guajome Park Academy, “An adventure for your Mind”, was a 6-12 school committed to the vision of the “whole child” with a blueprint structured on experiential learning, business partnerships, authentic assessment, and communication.

Phyllisann is a certified School Group Facilitator and is an Educational Leadership Trainer. She has taught all grades in various subject areas K -10 and at Hartford Community College.

As a warm and candid leader, she has served as Master Teacher, Mentor Teacher, Team Leader, School Site Council Member, Assistant Principal, Director, and Acting Principal, demonstrating inspirational values and goals in each role.

She enjoys writing and has created curriculum in all subject areas and grade levels. She has developed educational lessons used at The Austin Museum of Tolerance for Across Curriculum Boundaries, an “Art in History” company, with whom she worked. Her broad experience in both private and public education enables her to create a true understanding for social-emotional development with her clients. Phyllisann is active in her community, currently serving on the Planning Group (Bonsall Community Sponsor Group) as a Board Member. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 sons, grandson, and 4 Maltese!
