Paul Arilotta

Paul Arilotta, an experienced superintendent, principal, guidance counselor and teacher, has an extensive background in school and district administration, as well as human resources and negotiations in New York City and several high performing suburban school districts in New Jersey.
A graduate of St. John’s University where he earned a B.A. in sociology, an M.S. in guidance and counseling and a P.D. in administration and supervision, Paul continued his graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he completed an M.A. in physical education, an Ms. Ed. in special education and an Ed. D. in special education administration.
He has also earned labor relations certificates on collective bargaining and negotiations at the Program on Negotiations for Lawyers, Harvard University Law School and the New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University.
Passionate about achieving excellence in education, Paul has taught graduate courses in leadership, administration and supervision and human resources at New York and New Jersey colleges and universities and has served as a member of the National Faculty, National Principals Leadership Institute. He looks forward to continuing to make contributions to excellence in education through coaching school administrators as they enhance their Emotional Intelligence skills.

Paul lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife, Karen. They have two daughters, both teachers, and five grandchildren.
