Kimberly Kinzer

Kimberly Kinzer currently serves as an Executive Director of Teaching, Learning and Leading in Highline Public Schools, outside of Seattle, Washington. She also holds a certificate in Wellness Coaching and serves as a health and wellness leadership coach. From 2012-2014 Kimberly served as the Program Director of the Washington P-3 Executive Leadership Institute at the University of Washington (UW) to help launch the first cohort of experienced leaders nation-wide in P-3 work for Washington State. She has twenty-five years of experience working with children PreK-12 in private and public education in Washington State and extensive experience as a teacher, coach, mentor, principal, early learning director, and central office administrator. Kimberly’s work includes collaboration in the Cross-District P-3 Coalition, Generation Joy (Teacher Development in South Africa), the P-3 Collaborative for Holistic Education, Literacy Design Collaborative and currently serves on the Board of Access Montessori. Kimberly has presented at leadership conferences and schools on creative approaches to Writer’s Workshop, Professional Learning Communities, curriculum and instructional strategies, Early Learning P-3, and leadership health and wellness. Kimberly is a graduate of University of Washington, Seattle University and Vera Whole Health, and has recently completed her Doctoral Degree program Leadership for Learning program at the University of Washington.
